A coupled inductor is a Power Inductor that connects two coils or inductors by electromagnetic induction.Each time an alternating current flows through the primary coil, the coil produces a magnetic field connected to the secondary coil and generates an induced voltage within the coil. The phenomenon of induced voltage from one inductor to another is called mutual inductance.SMD Coupled Inductor is one of our most popular SMD Inductor series products from FERRITES.

Coupled Inductors are designed for a variety of applications. These compact coupled inductors have a high saturation current. The modules can be used as coupled inductors in non-isolated DC/DC converter topologies or as Transformers in flyback converters. They can also be used as common-mode inductors in power lines. the SHINHOM coupling inductors have a coupling factor of up to 99%. The compact and robust design provides functional isolation of up to 500 V between the two windings.
