    An inductor itself does not increase voltage. In fact, a ‌Fixed Inductor‌ is an electronic component that relies on changes in current to operate. Its primary function is to store energy in a magnetic field, and according to Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, when the current passing through the ‌Leaded Inductor‌ changes, it generates an opposing electromotive force (i.e., voltage) across the inductor.
