An inductor itself does not increase voltage. In fact, a Fixed Inductor is an electronic component that relies on changes in current to operate. Its primary function is to store energy in a magnetic field, and according to Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, when the current passing through the Leaded Inductor changes, it generates an opposing electromotive force (i.e., voltage) across the inductor.
This voltage attempts to oppose the change in current.
This phenomenon is commonly described as "self-inductance" or the "inductive effect." The magnitude of the voltage generated across the Fixed Inductor is proportional to the rate of change of current, with the specific relationship determined by the inductance value.
